California and Wine

California, the place where Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonay flourish. But, there are also many other grape varieties that are grown, bottled and enjoyed from this great state.  Grapes such as Merlot, Zinfandel, Syrah, Petite Sirah and Sauvignon Blanc are all being grown and bottled to make varietal wines...and with great success.  When most people think about California wines, they think of Chardonay or Cabernet Sauvignon. They think of Napa Valley.  But, as we will show you, there are many more grapes and many more grape growing regions in the great state of California.
