Cabernet Franc the other Cabernet

Most people think of Cabernet Sauvignon when they hear the term, "Cab." But, the fact of the matter is, Cabernet Franc was around before Cabernet Sauvignon and is one of the pricipal grapes used in Bordeaux for their famous blended wines. Cabernet Franc varietal wines are now being produced all over the world including Argentina and here in the United States. As wine's popularity increases, expect to see more varietal wines like Cabernet Franc hitting the market.
